OVERVIEW

The Correctional Center is comprised of four sections: Corrections, Support Services, Standards and Work Force. Each section maintains specialized responsibilities, has its own command staff, and answers to the Chief of Corrections.

CORRECTIONS

The Corrections section manages the day-to-day affairs of operating the facility. The personnel oversee the daily operation of Correctional Center.

TREATMENT

The Treatment section is responsible for investigations in issues concerning PREA, Inmate Grievances, Correctional Issues, and Family Complaints.

SUPPORT SERVICES

The Support Services section functions to support the daily operation of the Chesapeake Correctional Center. Support Services includes Intake, Records, Visitation, and Special Programs.

WORK CENTER

The Work Center consists of Work Force, Work Release, and Home Electronic Monitoring.
