March 5, 2022 – (CHESAPEAKE, Va.) – May 1 – 7 is National Correctional Officer week nationwide. The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office showed our appreciation for our deputy sheriffs who work in corrections with a free meal. Summit Food Services served baked chicken, fried chicken, delicious sides, and a cake to deputies working the day and night shifts in the correctional center. Chief of Corrections Major David Rosado personally thanked the employees for their hard work every day.
